This afternoon I watched a news report comparing the Democratic National Convention to be held in Chicago in August of this year with the convention held August 1968. In 1968, there were protests in connection with the Viet Nam war. This year, protests are related to the Israel Hamas war. After seeing this, I wondered how Chicago might fare with this year’s protests. I decided to compare Ingress and horoscope charts for both conventions.

A cursory look at the ingress charts shows me that concern about this year’s protest is not unwarranted. Mars opposes the AC; Jupiter, Sun, Venus, and Mercury are in the 8th house. The 2024 Convention start chart is timed for 7:30 PM. I was not able to find a schedule for the actual time. A lot depends on the starting time; therefore, I must wait until the schedule is released before passing judgment.
