In the last post I published, regarding the Democratic National Convention, the outcome I thought was most likely to happen did not occur. While posting an update to the post, I noticed something odd. In this post, I take a closer look at the phenomena.

My conclusion for the convention was that it would rain, thereby preventing unruly protests from getting out of hand. It didn’t rain at all in Chicago and the weather was beautiful. I based my conclusion on a chart from my records (Tropical Storm Ian) that was similar in planetary positions, namely the relation of Uranus to the Midheaven (MC). As I was writing the update I wondered how the Tropical Depression 9 Ian chart could have been so unrelateable. I searched news stories for the day of the convention (August 19) and noticed that hurricane Ernesto was active. Since I create charts for hurricanes, I wanted to get the details of when and where it started. Ernesto started as a cyclone on August 11 in the caribbean; however, when the convention began in Chicago, the hurricane was in the Atlantic ocean, with its center at the same latitude as Chicago’s.

Another occurrence on the same day as the convention involved a yacht. The Bayesian Yacht sank around 4:15 AM UTC+1 on August 19, latitude ~38.1°N, longitude 13.5349° E. The eye of Hurricane Ernesto reached latitude 38.5°N, longitude 61.4°W at 3 AM UTC (4 AM UTC+1). The boat is said to have capsized due to a strong storm. The storm has not been associated with Hurricane Ernesto. The map below shows the distance between Porticello, Sicily and the eye of the storm.

I’m not quite sure at this time what to make of this discovery. I’m shocked, really. I created the chart on August 15, which means the location of the hurricane in coming days was set and indicated in the chart. Uranus in the ninth house represents an unusual storm, but the question I have is what exactly was unusual about the storm. Why did it match the latitudes of the convention and the yacht sinking? It may take some time to figure this out.
