This post looks at earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and higher and where they fall in time. The charts show when these larger events happened and compare them against New Moon and Full Moon cycles. By plotting seismic activity alongside the lunar phases, I wanted to see whether any recurring timing patterns show up in the data. The approach is observational. I compiled the datasets and compared them visually rather than testing a specific theory.
